In 2013 I was approached by the Church of England guild of Vergers to assist with the redevelopment of their website.
The first part of this project involved a short phase of consultancy during which we focussed on assessing the content on their old website, and identifying what was most important to keep and what could perhaps be slimmed down.
Following this process we were able to significantly simplify their website, and migrate to a platform that was considerably easier and quicker for their webmaster to manage. Wordpress was the content management system of choice for this project. The guild were quickly up and running with a fresh new website, and now have the ability to run software updates easily and manage their own website effectively.
